Sending a watch

Five steps so that we can identify your parcel on arrival, inspect every piece and keep it insured.

Before you ship

  1. Pre-alert the shipment

In My account, give us the sender, the tracking number and each piece with its declared value. An unannounced parcel takes longer to identify and cannot be fully insured.

  2. Enclose the parcel slip

Print it from your pre-alert and place it inside the parcel. It lists every piece and the inclusions we will check on arrival.

  3. Address it with your client code

Ship to the address below, with your client code and the pre-alert number in the receiver line. Your client code is shown in My account.

  4. Ship insured, at the real value

Use an insured, signature-required service and declare the same value as your pre-alert. Please keep the brand name and the word “watch” off the outside of the parcel.

  5. We check it in

The parcel is checked against your pre-alert, and you are notified by email on arrival, or at once if anything requires your attention.

How insurance applies

In transit to us

Until the parcel is delivered and signed for at our office, it is covered by the insurance you buy with the courier. Declare the real value, the same as your pre-alert.

While in our custody

Watches are kept in a secure, insured facility. We ask that you insure each watch for its full market value, and we can arrange cover at your cost on request. The details are in our Terms.

In transit from us

We ship insured, on the value you declare to us, with the courier and service we agree with you.

Hong Kong import and export declarations

Where a declaration is needed, we handle it for you: on arrival when a watch comes into Hong Kong, and on departure when we ship it out. Any government charges for these declarations are passed on at cost, with nothing added.

Shipping out

  • Split shipments: on request we ship the watch first and the box and papers separately, later.
  • Duties and taxes in the destination country are the recipient's responsibility.
  • You will find the tracking number on your request in My account.
